Bamboo
The University of Portsmouth Football Club will be holding a meet and greet for all current and new members of the club at Bamboo on Sunday 4th October. After a buffet and a few drinks, we will make our way to Walkabout where the club has a fundraiser set-up. We would like everyone to attend as this will be the first chance for the whole club to go out together, meet all new players and make money for the club! There will be a charge for the buffet which all members will be required to pay.

The first round draw of the FA Cup has seen the UPFC Women’s 1st Team drawn against Southampton LFC.
This is the first year we have entered the FA Cup, and what a way to start. We will be travelling to bitter city rivals Southampton on 27th September where we hope to progress to the next round. Obviously with such a big game for the girls, the club will be looking to put on a coach to take supporters to the game to cheer them on to victory (please keep checking this page for further details).
Lee Moyce, coach, cannot believe the draw and is looking forward to the match-up. “The girls and the club have worked so hard over the last few years to get to the position we are in today, and what a way to celebrate it.” He added “we have a good chance of winning the match and progressing further through the rounds”.
More to follow…
